The hotel had just been refurbished a lovely old building given a very striking contemporary makeover, the rooms were lovely, clean and spacious with good showers. It is very well situated for exploring the city on foot and right next door to the Opera House. Although the hotel does not have a car park there is a large underground car park nearby and the daily charge rate was reasonable. We had a small dog with us whom they were happy to accommodate. The breakfast was a continental breakfast and as we had three Coeliacs in our party they were happy to provide Gluten Free Bread.

Great hotel! The reality was much better than expected! Firstly I would like to note the perfect cleanliness both in the room and in the whole hotel. The hotel has been renovated and everything is perfect, both design and cleanliness. The rooms are much bigger than they look on the photo. Great location, in the very centre of the city! Yet double glazed windows and excellent soundproofing. The staff are very friendly and responsive to all requests. Nice bonus free coffee, tea and Perrier water in the room and lobby. We will definitely be back!

Excellent location, central and walking distance to places we wanted to go. One block from the tourism information center and tram station. We had a rental car and parking was easier than expected. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was very charming and newly renovated. The rooms are quite nicely decorated with simple furniture. We especially like the reception area where we had a place to chat with friends over coffee after a long day out. The cookies and sweet were delicious. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

The hotel is in the heart of the historic centre of Bordeaux, with trams at the end of the street that take you to the train station in minutes, and excellent restaurants a short walk away. Our room was modern, it had an excellent shower (the best we’d encountered on our month long trip through Europe) and we had space for a small table and comfortable chairs. High ceilings gave the room a real elegance and we were lucky enough to have a small verandah.

The location was perfect, I was able to walk everywhere. The hotel itself was newly refurbished and very clean. Each member of staff was friendly and happy to help and provide recommendations on restaurants and things to do and see. The water dispenser and coffee machine were fantastic as this allows you to have access to these at any time. The breakfast provided different options and was lovely and fresh.
